Digital-first. Annual Report for the Higher Education Authority.

As part of our ongoing work with the HEA, we have built a digital system for their annual reports that displays the content in a compelling and responsive way.

Benefits of using a digital over a print format for annual reports include:

• Accessibility, the digital report been designed and developed so that people with disabilities can easily use it.
• Ease of use, a intuitive navigational system combined with a progressive search system allows users to quickly find what they are looking for, for example you can search for names or locations.
• Distribution, there is no postage or time costs to send the report to virtually anyone or anywhere.

Like all Annual Reports, there are a lot of tables and graphs. The system allows this tabular data to be displayed in both HTML and as downloadable PDFs. Display of tables is notoriously hard to do well on mobile devices. The system allows mobile users to use both horizontal and vertical swipe to view tabular data.
