Protected: Music Connects
Galway Music Residency had long been a pillar of the city’s cultural life, known for its flagship ensemble, ConTempo Quartet, and an unwavering commitment to classical music outreach. But as its work grew more inclusive, multidisciplinary and contemporary, the name no longer matched the vision. The rebrand to Music Connects marked a pivotal transformation: one that sought to elevate not just the identity, but the purpose behind the music.
Naming & Strategy
The name Music Connects emerged from a simple truth — this organisation doesn’t just present music; it builds bridges through it. Between generations. Between genres. Between city and county. Between tradition and now.
The brand proposition positioned Music Connects as a residency programme rooted in Galway, but resonating far beyond. A place where exceptional music and musicians become part of everyday life — heard in classrooms, community centres, public parks and sacred spaces.
